뉴욕대 누리엘 루비니 교수의 예측이 현실이 된다면. 골드만 삭스와 모건스탠리도 파산할꺼라고 예측하고 있던데. 이미 베어스턴스 파산 이전에 투자은행 파산을 예견했던 것으로 알려져있음. 지난 8월에 리만 브라더스, 와초비아, 워싱턴 뮤추얼의 파산을 예견하기도 했었음.
